Al Bahia offers some of the best authentic Moroccan food I've ever had. The focus here is purely on delivering excellent dishes at unbeatable prices. It's a no-frills place, but the food speaks for itself. A clear indicator of its authenticity is the number of Moroccan people who choose to eat here, which is always a good sign. Highly recommended!

A small Moroccan restaurant with an authentic atmosphere in walking distance from the centre. The harira was great, the salad really fresh and meat very tasty. The staff was friendly and everything at an affordable price. I visited this place a few times during my stay at the hostel nearby and it was great each time. I got some bread on the house as well. Great value for money! The atmosphere is amazing, especially when it’s fully packed and you have lots of people drinking tea and chatting, it gives you that authentic, warm and welcome feeling you expect from Moroccans. I payed €5 for the soup and salad and €14 for the soup, the soft warm bread, a mixed platter with meat, rice, egg and fries and a fresh orange juice.

One of the best Moroccan food we’ve tried in Madrid. If I need to define in one word: authentic

The mint tea is delicious. I ordered vegetarian couscous, hummus, and the house soup. All of it was good, but it was the authentic cultural vibe that earns it 5 stars.

We visited this restaurant on May 28, 2024 for a late dinner. It was packed and we were lucky to have a table. The atmosphere was very lively. We had an entrée of hommus and main course was lamb couscous while my husband had chicken with fries. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and tasty. Prices were reasonable. Regretfully we had to fly home the next day otherwise we would have gone back to this restaurant without hesitation.
